Green Car Congress attended the Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street) conference (23-24 June) sponsored by Euromoney Energy Events and the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). Although not part of the conferences formal structure, the themes were addressed in the presentations and panel discussions.

We noted in December that the Society of Automotive Engineers, or SAE, was working to update standards for the interface between plug-in electric cars and the grid, and planned to agree on a set within months. And for this ecosystem to be robust, there must be commonality, especially when owners are plugging into the electrical grid.

The cattle will get part of their daily food ration from wet distillers grain (WDG) which is a by product of the ethanol fermentation. All of these issues are contributing to excess capacity in the industry.
