These include the Cadillac CT6 Plug-In, the Buick Velite 5 extended-range electric vehicle and the Baojun E100 electric vehicle—all of which have been introduced in China within the past 12 months. GM’s goal is to have all of its Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet models in China connected by 2020.

Leveraging GM’s proven EREV technology as shown in the Chevy Volt and the Cadillac CT6 Plug-In, the Velite 5 also offers advanced connectivity and safety technologies. GM’s electrified vehicles today include the extended-range electric Chevrolet Volt, Spark EV and Buick LaCrosse, Regal, Chevrolet Malibu and Impala with eAssist. On the 40 mpg+ highway side, in addition to the Volt and Spark EV (with the Cadillac ELR coming), GM also currently has the Sonic and the Cruze Eco and Cruze Diesel.

Last month GM Announced that Heat-Pump technology will be included in all of their current and future electric vehicles based on the Ultium-platform. The current product line of GM includes the Hummer EV, which is now being delivered, and the Cadillac Lyriq, which will be arriving in the coming years.
