The Ministry of Environmental Protection is planning a forcible emission standard for methanol-fueled light-duty vehicles, in which carbonyl pollution will be legislatively capped and the limit value is under discussion. Most recently, methanol-fueled prototypes are being tested in 3 provinces of China. in particulate matter in methanol mode.
