The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. I blame management but it is sad that the engineers and union workers are going to get hurt too.
