Although Volvo had already planned to begin EX30 production in the EU in 2025, Annwall hinted the US-bound model would likely come from Belgium. In the US, the EX30 starts at $34,950.

Volvo announced it’s delaying the EX30 launch in the US as it ramps up production in Belgium. Volvo EX30 Cloud Blue and Vapour Grey (Source: Volvo) Annwall suggested the US-bound EX30 could come from Belgium. Volvo already announced plans to build the EX30 in Ghent, Belgium, to meet the demand, but not until 2025.

With “above-expected order rates,” Volvo will build the EX30 at its Ghent, Belgium plant (in addition to China) to meet the growing demand in Europe for low-cost EVS.
