Clean Energy Fuels Corp delivered 143 million gallons of Redeem Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) last year as robust sales of the carbon-neutral transportation fuel continued in 2019, closing out the year with significant deals throughout North America. In 2019 Clean Energy provided an estimated 16 million gallons of Redeem to UPS.

Big Blue Bus (BBB), a bus operator serving Santa Monica and the Los Angeles area, will invest $18.3 The agency plans to commission an additional twenty-three (23) 40-foot Gillig buses by December 2019. The fleet enhancements are part of a larger series of strategic improvements we will roll out over the next 12-18 months.

MTS launched the region’s first zero-emissions bus pilot program in 2019, and last year set a plan in motion to convert its entire bus fleet to zero emission by 2040. Long Beach Transit provides public transportation to more than 23 million customers annually in southeastern Los Angeles County and northwestern Orange County.

When Clean Fleet Report reviewed the first generation Toyota Mirai (see reviews at the end of the story), we weren’t all that excited about the look, but did like the way it handled freeway driving and quickly realized it was nothing exciting/fun to drive. Clean Fleet Report drove the 2022 Mirai 232 miles through Southern California.
