The mpg ratings are for city/highway/combined. RWD we drove 225 miles through Southern California, averaging 24 mpg. The high-end interior, sharp exterior design, deft handling, 30+ mpg from the base engine with rear-wheel drive, standard driver safety systems and an outstanding warranty make it a great value. The EPA estimates the G80’s fuel economy to be 17 mpg city/26 highway/20 combined. If fuel economy is a pacing item, then getting 32 mpg with the smaller displacement probably is worth foregoing the performance benefits of the larger engine.
