By 2020 Torrance, having closed down the ExxonMobil refinery in 2017 will proudly declare it has reached carbon neutral status. I expect Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach to get there halfway through the Greenius Decade and to become the solar powered plug-in car capitol of beach culture for the 21st century.
