It is the first refueling station to produce green hydrogen which will be used to power ships, tube trailers, cars, trucks and buses. FEBRUARY 23, 2017

Shell, in partnership with ITM Power, opened the first hydrogen station to be situated on a forecourt in the UK. The new hydrogen station has been supplied by ITM Power and is the first fully branded and public hydrogen refueling site in the UK.

Port Glasgow-based Ferguson Marine Engineering Limited has successfully led a European consortium in a bid for EU funding support for the building and launch of the first sea-going car and passenger ferry fueled by Hydrogen. Ballard plans to supply 7 of its modules to power the ferry, with the first modules expected to be shipped in 2018.
