The Q7 PHEV will arrive in dealerships in Germany in 2016, and will likely come to the US, although perhaps with a gasoline-engine variant. An outer skin made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) encases the inner aluminum shell. Another project is underway in Hobbs (New Mexico, USA). Audi A4 Avant g-tron.
