The Tesla Model 3 in 2016 got 400,000 pre-orders in just a week. Battery packs from BYD, CATL, and Tesla all reported having 1 million km of usable life. By 2030, you can expect battery packs to last 2 million km. I won’t be surprised if they top even that number given how battery tech is advancing.
