At a press event on Monday, Oregon’s governor, Ted Kulongoski, was talking up Nissan’s previously announced partnership with the state. So imagine a million electric cars on US roads which all need to change these batteries in say 2015. Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
