Annual data compiled by the European Environmental Agency ( EEA ) and submitted to the UNFCCC on the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions usually leave out emissions from international shipping and aviation (so-called “bunkers”). Compared with 2007, transport emissions in 2008 decreased by 1.6% compared with 2007.

Overall, the total costs of the baseline between 2010-2050 are roughly $500 trillion ($200T in OECD and $300T in non-OECD countries).
