Calcars continues to work with the Electric Auto Association members to bring a do-it-yourself kit to hybrid owners with moxie. HybridsPlus and EDrive have converted cars. Whatever it's called, it's got Toyota in a tizzy.

Plug-In Conversions Corp www.pluginconversions.com of Poway, near San Diego, CA converts the Toyota Prius using NiMH batteries and the EAA-PHEV open source control system, and will provide kits to qualified DIY installers. 25 or more gets you a bumper sticker.
