And yet clean diesel, one of the cleanest choices for putting the US on the road to energy independence, hasn’t see any sort of incentive since the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) of 2007. Do they get state or federal tax breaks? In fact in 6 of the states, diesel fuel is penalized with additional state taxes.
