Cal Energy Commission approves $1M grant to develop 12L near-zero NOx nat gas engine

The California Energy Commission approved a $1-million grant to develop a 12-liter natural gas engine that produces near-zero nitrogen oxide (NO x ) tailpipe emissions. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) 2010 emission standards for heavy-duty engines establish a limit for NO x emissions of 0.2 to develop the engine.

BP Products to Pay Nearly $180M to Settle Violations at Texas City Refinery; Conversion of Diesel Vehicles to Natural Gas Part of Settlement
