On right, the first AMP prototype, called Glass Man, built in 2006. We were able to get a one-off project to build some little balancing Android Robots for Google, and tour them around to events like Google IO, Google Sandbox, and Google Zeitgeist in London. Plug-In Conversions Corp www.pluginconversions.com of Poway, near San Diego, CA converts the Toyota Prius using NiMH batteries and the EAA-PHEV open source control system, and will provide kits to qualified DIY installers. 25 or more gets you a bumper sticker.
