Algenol closes on additional $25M internal equity financing

Founded in 2006, Algenol converts CO 2 from industrial emitters into transportation fuels through its Direct-To-Ethanol process. It is then isolated and purified, while the algal biomass is processed to extract and produce a bio-oil co-product. This new investment follows a previous investment of $40 million from BioFields in 2014.
