Toyota Motor Corporation will launch the redesigned Harrier crossover SUV (Lexus RX in overseas markets) in Japan on 2 December, with a hybrid model scheduled for release on 15 January 2014. As a result, the Harrier is eligible for reduced taxes under the Japanese government’s tax system for environment-friendly vehicles.
