Our nameless reviewer felt , back in 2006, that the Vue's panel gaps made it the "automotive equivalent of a shotgun shack" and calculated that the Green Line version would require 90,000 miles of driving with $2.15/gallon

California ARB: GHG emissions fell below 1990 levels for first time in 2016; down 13% from 2004 peak; transportation emissions up 2%

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) announced that greenhouse gas emissions in California in 2016 fell below 1990 levels for the first time since emissions peaked in 2004—a reduction roughly equivalent to taking 12 million cars off the road or saving 6 billion gallons of gasoline a year.

bp Statistical Review shows 4.5% drop in primary energy consumption in 2020; mainly driven by oil

Natural gas prices declined to multi-year lows; however, the share of gas in primary energy continued to rise, reaching a record high of 24.7%. The oil price (Dated Brent) averaged $41.84/bbl bbl in 2020—the lowest since 2004. Carbon emissions from energy use fell by more than 6% in 2020, the largest decline since 1945.
