The Volkswagen Group is continuing its restructuring in the aftermath of the diesel engine emissions scandal. He moved to Saab as Executive Director Design in 2000 and was also given responsibility for Advanced Design at General Motors Europe in 2003. Ralf-Gerhard Willner will lead Group Product and Modular Toolkit Strategy.

A PHEV with only a 20-mile all-electric range is 62% lower (see printed page 95 in the 2004 study ). CalCars produced the worlds first plug-in Prius (the PRIUS+) in 2004.
