Despite focusing on clean-diesel technologies, VW has not been immune to alternative fuels. It has also launched flexible fuel vehicles in Brazil. In March 2009 however, its efforts really picked up pace as Ford launched to the US market the Ford Fusion Hybrid and the Milan Mercury Hybrid, both as 2010 models.
