Honda will introduce the new 5-passenger, hydrogen-powered Clarity Fuel Cell sedan by the end of 2016, beginning with retail leasing to customers through its expanded network of 12 approved fuel cell vehicle dealerships located in select California markets. The first fuel cell vehicle to start and operate in sub-freezing temperatures (2003).

Charging nightly and driving less than 29 miles will mean less need for hydrogen fuel, which is currently available at only about 50 stations in California. MPGe fuel economy is rated at 61 mpg city/52 highway/57 combined using the electric battery and compressed hydrogen fuel.
