That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Oh, and it looks wayyyyy cooler than the Volt.
