The United States has filed and simultaneously settled a civil lawsuit against Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor North America Inc., Toyota then revised its process, noting internally that it “will be stricter than” California law. My ex and I got solar at home on his birthday in 2002, then our first EV, the RAV4, a couple months later, on the winter solstice. No pollution, well-to-wheels. I think mainstream America would be stunned to know that there are many among them doing the same thing. And with the solar panels, I was driving on sunshine. .

CA, NY, MA and other states have had Zero-Emission Vehicle programs since the early 1990s because battery electric vehicles in those states, taking into account power plants, are far cleaner than gasoline cars in reducing urban air pollution and smog.
