The United States has filed and simultaneously settled a civil lawsuit against Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor North America Inc., Toyota then revised its process, noting internally that it “will be stricter than” California law. Smaller amounts of China’s methanol supply are imported from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and the United States.
