Inductive charging with a paddle-type connector was used in a number of earlier EVs, notably GM’s EV1, the Nissan Hypermini EV, and the Toyota RAV4. As well as inductive charging, its technological solutions include developing fast-charging facilities, which they hope to see in place in shopping car parks and motorway service stations.

Consumer Reports rates the Buick Enclave higher than vehicles from Toyota, Volvo, Infiniti, Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz in the Luxury- Full Size SUV category. Most of the new vehicles have received special praise for their interiors, which has been a priority for GM since Bob Lutz assumed product design responsibilities in 2001.
